Master Recycler Vancouver is proud to participate in Metro Vancouver’s Solid Waste Management Plan update. This plan, updated once a decade, is now in the Idea Generation phase, where we’re gathering input from the public to rethink waste management and drive toward a circular economy.
How you can get involved:
- Complete our 5-10 minute survey to share your thoughts on waste reduction.
- Join our Virtual Workshop on December 5, 2024 at 6-7:30 PM for an interactive discussion on preventing and rethinking waste. Register here!

It's time for a change
Waste is no joke, and recycling is just part of the solution. As the first Master Recycler program in BC (based on programs across North America), we welcome participants across the province and country to untangle our relationships with waste and recycling.
Learn together
A class of up to 25 participants with a mix of 2-4 facilitators journey along the path to waste reduction and prevention, along with industry professionals and community leaders.
